Jube School Presents: Lightsaber Training with The FloWarrior

Jube School Presents: Lightsaber Training with The FloWarrior

Unleash your inner Jedi with lightsaber master The FloWarrior! Using a practice staff/saber, this workshop will explore the fundamentals of lightsaber technique. This class will help students build confidence, connect to their bodies, practice skill development, and express themselves creatively through movement.

Recommended grades: 1- 6

Supplies needed: Each student needs a stick-like object that isn't sharp (pool noodles work great). Students need enough space so that they aren't hitting each other accidentally with their practice sabers.

About the artist: With over a decade of experience under his belt, The FloWarrior has earned a reputation as one of Canada's top fire and flow arts performers. Fusing his passion for dance, martial arts and music, he has created his own unique brand of 'martial artistry’ through years of training and dedication to his craft. A world-renowned innovator in a number of unique disciplines including folding fans, rice hats, lightsabers, and the Force Leash; he continues to push the limits of what is possible through movement art and object manipulation.
